Quick Fingerless Mittens
by Rae Ortogero
These fingerless mittens are very quick to work up. The gauge isn’t important, but a larger hook will give you a slightly larger mitten if you need the space. While I used aran weight and an H hook, you may find you need to use an I or larger, as I crochet quite loosely.
In theory, any weight yarn can be used, you just have to make sure the starting chain fits around the widest part of your hand. A bit of trial and error may be necessary to change weights.
Worked in aran weight (4), both gloves used well under half of a skein of Caron Simply Soft.
