This is a quick cowl you can work up in an afternoon, but fair warning, you will need to block before stitching together into a Möbius loop. The bulky stitches will relax considerably after blocking, giving you a longer rectangle to work with and a looser fabric. You could also join the 2 ends with funky buttons if you’d like (crochet is great for interesting toggles – you don’t need to worry about true button holes!).

Materials:
• 1 skein of Malabrigo Rasta (150g, approx. 90yds, 100% kettle dyed merino wool. Color 416 Indiecita shown)
• Size M (9mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle to weave in ends

Measurements: Cowl is worked flat and then stitched together. You will need to block before stitching together. Before blocking, it will measure approx. 7” wide by 26” long. After blocking, approx. 7” wide by 32” long. Gauge: before blocking, your initial 2 hdc rows will measure approx. 7” wide by 2” high. Adjust hook size if needed to get gauge.
