These dishcloths use Barbara Walker’s mosaic technique to mimic the appearance of calico quilt blocks. Charts for 6 different quilt blocks are included – Flock of Geese, Friendship Star, Split Nine Patch, Ohio Star, Double X, and Maple Leaf.

Materials
Approximately 100 to 120 yards of sport-weight yarn in roughly equal amounts of two colors. Heavier dishcloth cotton will require larger needles, yield larger cloths, and may take more yardage
US 4/3.5 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge
US 6/4 mm needles or two sizes larger than gauge needles for binding off
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
