Cardigan designed and created by me (as a birthday present to my mom). This cardigan is constructed top-down with raglan increases. Cables are incorporated throughout the whole design, including a heart cable by Kristen McDonnell (https://www.studioknitsf.com/knit-cable-heart). The pattern itself includes written instructions as well as visual charts, for each section (front left, left sleeve, back, right sleeve, front right). How these sections relate to each other in the overal design is shown on a diagram on one of the first pages of the pattern book.

Brief overview of construction:
At the start, during the raglan increases, all sections are knit-flat, simultaneously on the needle. Once the garment is wide and long enough, the sleeves are tied off and the front and back panels are knitted without increases until full length. Later the sleeves are picked up and knitted to full length. Lastly, the edges of the sleeves, bottom edge and front edges are completed.

This pattern only includes one size. For reference, I usually wear size S and it’s quite big/loose on me, so I think it’s size M and on the over-sized side (especially after I blocked it).

Hopefully this is clear! If there are any questions or suggestions for adjustments in the pattern to make it clearer, I would be open to hear them!
