Rain Shadow
The Rain Shadow sweater is knit top down with a sport and fluffy lace weight yarns held together. The short row shaping is worked in the ribbing of the collar. A small-large repeating diamond pattern is featured on the front and twisted cables run between the raglan increases. After the first few increases, the smaller diamond pattern of the sleeves starts. The Suri alpaca yarn I used blooms to quite a large stitch gauge and creates loops that are sticky enough that I didn’t need to use a cable needle and made this a quick knit. Several testers used a worsted weight yarn held single.
The inductions are fully written out and and supplemental charts are provided for the cables.
