This colorful shawl is assembled from small individual blocks. It’s easy to make in any size or shape that you desire. The lace is pretty light weight, so even a large shawl like I made drapes well and is easy to arrange.

I used two yarns: a solid color for the outside of the blocks, and a self-striping rainbow-colored yarn for the flowers in the middle. When working the blocks, I arranged it so that the flowers change color in a rainbow pattern across the shawl. This shawl is also great for using up small scraps of yarn, since you don’t need much yarn for each individual block.
