These socks are inspired by Iris, the Greek goddess of rainbows. She is also associated with communication and messages. If you love rainbows or if you want to show off your Pride support, these are the socks for you! It has an elegant twisted rib cuff with shaping that uses basic lace techniques. The rainbow colourwork adds just a splash of colour for the leg and just before the toes. The toe has an optional twisted rib texture to tie in with the cuff. This pattern is a great way to use up small amounts of scrap yarns or a single mini skein instead of the rainbow.

If you would like to instead donate to an LGBTQIA2S+ organization of your choosing, send me an email at sweetknitsdesigns@gmail.com with a proof of donation (like a receipt with personal information covered up for example) and your Ravelry name and I will give you this pattern for free!! This is my way of encouraging support for your own local groups!
