Rainbow Pride Jellyfish
Because love comes in all colours. Designed for my infant son, as the tentacles seemed to me imminently grabbable. He loves it, and there is no reason you shouldn’t, too :).
This project is mainly made up of leftovers, so great to get rid of some small amounts of colourful yarn you might have lying about in your stash!
Needles & notions:
3.5mm crochet hook
Crochet markers
Tapestry needle
Two 9mm safety eyes
Embroidery floss in black and pink
Toy stuffing
Sewing pins
Yarn:
Sample was made in DROPS Paris; Aran weight cotton yarn, but I would imagine a wide variety of different yarns would do.
You will need approximately 50-60 grams of the main colour, and leftover bits for the tentacles. If you assume 18 tentacles with 3 tentacles in each of six colours, ~15-20 grams of each colour should suffice. If you use a very different type of yarn or hook these amounts might change!
