The Rainbow Sea Waves Blanket: perfect for beginner crocheters! This blanket pattern will have you hooked from start to finish, as you get to use a new colour each row! You’ll be saying “ooh, just one more row!” until the blanket is done.

For this blanket you will need 1 box of the Scheepjes Catona Colour pack, or alternatively you can create your own colour palette by getting 108 balls of 10g Catona, 44 balls of 25g Catona, or 22 balls of 50g Catona.

The finished size of the Rainbow Sea Waves blanket is 100 x 140cm (39″x 55″) not including fringe. The size can easily be altered, but this is the size that will work best for the Colour Pack.

The Rainbow Sea Waves Blanket is worked in rows. Each row starts from the same side of the blanket, you do not turn your work to crochet on the wrong side. From the second row, you crochet into the back loops only, thereby creating visual lines on the front of your work formed by the unused front loops.
The waves are formed by making increases and decreases. The increases form the ‘hills’, and the decreases form the ‘valleys’.
NO sewing in ends required! The ends are incorporated into the fringe on the sides of the blanket. How-to video included.

Happy crocheting!!
