It is a hat that is knit from the bottom up. It ussies Mosaic technique. It’s a knitting technique where you only work with one yarn at a time and slip stitches to make a colour work effect.

The hast is written in 5 sizes.

The gauge is written for the two-by-two rib of the hat, but as you work with a lighter weight of yarn, the gauge changes on the top of the hat.

Hand-spun yarns like Spincycle yarns or Schoppel Wolle are used in the hat. But you can knit the hat with any kind of yarn. I think it will look beautiful if you knit with solid colours.

For the largest size, you’ll need about 72 g and 140 m (152 yards) of DK yarn and 35 g and 105 m ( 115 yards ) of Schoppel Edition 3. or Spincycle yarns.

You can knit two hats from one skein of DK yarn from HHF or LITLG and one skein of Spincycle yarns or Schoppel Wolle.
