Toilet roll cover (or toilet paper cosy) worked in the round in granny stripes. Two rows in each colour.

It’s a simple pattern, the only stitches you need to know are are chain, slip stiches and treble. (UK terms)

I used nine different colours of Scheepjes Catona 100% mercerised cotton. You will need a little less than 10g (25m) of each colour.

If you made the cover/cosy in a single colour, two 50g balls would be required.

Any 4 ply yarn could be substituted. I used a 3mm hook to achieve the gauge required to fit the toilet roll.

Instructions are also provided on how to make the pom pom on the top of the cover/cosy.

In addition to yarn and hook, you will also need a sharp pair of scissors to make the pom pom.
