This knitting pattern is an original design, shown here in Paton’s Canadiana.

The sweater is knit in pieces and then seamed. There are seven contrast colours used, however you can use as many or as few as you like. Use up some of that stash - I know you have one!

Yarn Requirements:

2yrs - 200yds of the main colour and smaller amounts of each of the seven contrast colours.
3yrs - 10yrs - 300yds to 480yds of the main and smaller amounts of the contrast colours.

Finished Measurement:

2yrs - 27” (68.50cm)
3 - 4yrs - 28 1/2” (72.50cm)
5 - 6yrs - 31 1/2” (80cm)
7 - 8yrs - 33” (84cm)
9 - 10yrs - 36” (91.50cm)

Needles Used:

US-7 (4.50mm)
US-8 (5.00mm)
