This shawl is one of those pieces that feels good from the very first stitch. It’s soft, elegant, and surprisingly simple to make, perfect if you’re in the mood for something relaxing but beautiful. I designed it to be worn through the colder months, but honestly, it’s light enough for spring evenings too.

You can wear it as a cosy wrap, dress it up for a wedding (it looks so lovely over a bridal dress), or just throw it over your shoulders on a breezy walk. If you use something like Drops Kid-Silk, it adds this soft glow and a bit of luxury without being fussy.

The pattern is beginner-friendly and flexible. I’ve written it to work with a Scheepjes Whirl (I used the colour ‘Petrol Please Me’), but it easily adjusts if you want to make it bigger or smaller, the notes explain how.

Finished size is about 100 x 95 cm, but feel free to make it your own.
Available in English (US + UK) and Dutch.
