Tucked into the shadows of the rainforest, we find bright blooms here and there.

This is a large, modular colorwork blanket! There are two colorways included in the pattern, dark green with a rainbow of brights, and creams with some primary tones.
Yes, this is scrap yarn friendly! If you have a collection of worsted weight yarns, I would recommend buying the MC and then drop in whatever you have for the colorwork. You will need about 2,500 yards of your chosen MC.

Scroll down through the photos for the yarn colors/amounts.

Each hexagon is worked individually, in the round, and takes about the same amount of time as making a worsted colorwork hat. Once they are knit up, you can start to graft them together into a blanket. The colorwork is all charted, but if for some reason you need a text version of the charts, please let me know.

If you love this blanket, check out the rest of my blankets! (and here’s a hot tip, if you want custom colorway inspiration, go check out the projects for those blankets! So many knitters have stunning colorways they made themselves!)
