Rally, the Baseball Fanatic, is one of my many sports themed lovey designs. He has adorable curly hair, baseball antennas, and a baseball field blanket. But what makes him really special is that all his pieces are crocheted in place - no sewing of limbs, and no worries about mispositioned body parts! Your only worry will be which sport you want to crochet after baseball.

Pattern was independently tested.

Materials

• Hooks – 3.75 mm, 4.0 mm, and 6.5 mm
• Yarn – 4 weight. Project uses skin tone yarn, two team/uniform colors (e.g. blue and white), plus additional colors for grass, eyes, hair and red for baseball details.

  • Loops & Threads Soft & Shiny Doux et Brillant, Cacao/Brown - .5 oz/40 yards
  • Skein Tones - 1.5 oz/ 80 yards
  • Caron Simply Soft, Royal Blue - .5 oz/35 yards
  • Big Twist Value, White - .5 oz/35 yards.
  • Big Twist Value, Green - 1.5 oz/100 yards
  • Remnants from my stash - red for baseball details, green/blue/brown for eyes
