“Randall” Shawl
I wanted to create a shawl that was made from different types of hand dyed yarns. The main colour is constructed using graduated mini skeins or a graduated whole skein, the side border is a semi solid, and the top border a complete solid.
The colours I have chosen are those of an English officer at the time of Culloden Moor battle, and tie in with my love of Scotland.
Its been created in fingering/sock/4ply yarn but could easily be made using other weights.
It’s a simple knit with lace panels giving detail against stocking stitch used for the graduated yarn panel.
