Realistic Ankylosaurus
An Ankylosaurus made using this pattern with a 4mm crochet hook and Medium yarn (Category 4) measures approximately 23 inches (58-60cm) long
Available in English, with American/US crochet terms
Difficulty level -- intermediate/advanced
This Realistic Ankylosaurus requires hardly any sewing: all spikes are joined with crochet stitches, only the spiky piece needs sewing!
Gauge is not critical, but if you use yarn of different weight, the overall shape might be distorted.
You will need:
* 4mm /G-6 Crochet hook
Medium/Category4/ Worsted Weight/Aran yarn:
- 250 yards of Main Color yarn (Medium/Category4/ Worsted Weight/Aran yarn)
- 50 yards for the spikes
- 60 yards for the back cover
- Small piece of stiff cardboard and scissors
- Polyfil (polyester / fiberfill) stuffing
- Safety eyes or Black embroidery floss for eyes
