YARN
This pattern is made in a consistent yarn weight and can be sized up or down by using different yarns and hook sizes. The sample shown uses worsted weight acrylic (Big Twist Value) and a 4mm hook. Heavier yarn weights will require stronger wire for support.
Color A: 275 yards in bright red (body)
Color B: 65 yards in dark red (wing panels and back spikes)
Color C: 40 yards in tan (horns and belly scales)

US G-6 / 4 mm crochet hook
