This is the first “add-on” option for the Fantasy Horse Base, and you will need that pattern to make use of this one!

This add-on pattern provides instructions for creating a mermaid-like tail to replace your horse’s hind legs. This tail has shaping and sufficient strength to support the weight of your horse as shown in the photos: standing on both front legs (or one raised hoof), or “rearing” up on the tail with both front hooves raised.
