The pattern is designed for the single bed standard gauge 4.5 mm knitting machine.

This is a “one size fits all” pattern.

Depending on the yarn and tension used, the cardigan may turn out slightly bigger or smaller, but in general it is designed to fit sizes S, M and L with different amounts of ease.

Yarn
I used coned Zegna Baruffa, Italy, 45% cotton, 55% merino, 2/32, 1600 m in 100 g or 1750 yds in 3.5 oz, 4 stranded, which gave me 400 m in 100 g or 437 yds in 3.5 oz.
Total yarn usage is 1260 m/1378 yds/315 g.

24 stitches and 30 rows = 10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette stitch on MT 10

Notes
This pattern is worked top-down in two mirrored pieces that are then seamed together on the back.
The description is provided for one (left) piece.
The right piece is knitted mirrored.

The pattern can be adapted for hand knitting, and hand knitters can work the cardigan as a whole piece with only two side seams to sew!

Примечания
Кардиган вяжется сверху вниз из двух симметричных деталей, которые потом сшиваются по спинке.
