Red Rock Coulee in Southern Alberta is home to rock concretions that look like a giant accidently left their marble collection behind. These geologic formations bear the scars and cracks of thousands of years of weathering and erosion. The colour and the shapes of these round boulders brought to mind this lace stitch, and led to the creation of this cowl pattern.
