This is a simple, close fitting cowl with a striking geometric design worked in two colours of Shibui Billow. Get a bold look with high contrast colours or a more subtle look with less contrasting colours.
The fabric is feather-light, wonderfully soft and is a perfect choice for fall and early winter wear.

Materials
Two skeins of Shibui Billow (41% Cotton 35% Baby Alpaca, 24% Merino; 250 yds; 50g); or approx 125 yds each of two DK weight yarns.
The sample was made with colours Ivory and Abyss.

Needles
40cm | 16” circular in 4mm | US 6

Other notions
Tapestry needle
Stitch marker for beginning of round.

Gauge
Gauge is not critical to this project however the sample worked out to 20 sts x 29 rows in the round after blocking.
