Fingerless Mitts are great for giving you freedom of fingers, while still cosy. At at this time of year, a seasonal touch can never go amiss!

I was inspired by the miniature reindeer designs we see on FairIsle patterns, and wanted a bolder ‘in your face’ approach to Christmas in these mitts! (I’m a massive fan of the Harry Potter books, so these mitts now always remind me of Prongs too!)

Knit these up for yourself and wear them for them next two months, knowing you’ll be wearing them year after year, to bring holiday joy to all who see them. (Not quite so obvious as a ‘Christmas jumper,’ but in the same spirit!)

You’ll need stranded and intarsia experience, but don’t worry about trying Intarsia in the round, you’ll be knitting these flat and sewing a side seam. (you can convert to knitting in the round if you prefer)

The Drops Alaska is available in a great range of colours, so if you’d prefer a different background then go for it. You could have a couple of pairs to match different scarves!

These are knitting in Midnight Blue and Pearl Grey
Full colour chart is included

These knit up big, so they feel roomy and cover the fingers well and are ideal if you like to wear fingerless mitts with thin gloves underneath.
