Relaxation – the state of being free from tension & anxiety

March 2017 - I updated this pattern to include a new shape. It now includes the original triangle & the new crescent shawl shape directions.
This simple pattern (really more of a recipe) is so open to let your creativity shine! Add loads of mods to knit the shawl that is perfect for you - add lace or a texture stitch pattern to the body - work it in stripes - add a picot bind off….. really it is endless.

A simple design with stunning results. This is one of those patterns you might choose as an in-between project or when your life is somewhat stressful and you need mindless knitting. I tend to do a lot of mindless knitting since I’m constantly interrupted by my two young kids. This shawl features a basic triangle shape in a tweedy variegated yarn and a border knitted in a solid color that complements the main body of plain stockinette. I used all stash yarn, so you may use what you have on hand or splurge on something fantastic for yourself. This is one size but could easily be adjusted based on your yarn choice or quantity. (Refer to the pattern for details)

samples are knit is multiple weights of yarns - pattern lists fingering weight.
