This pattern is to make Remembrance Flowers for Remembrance Day (November 11th in Canada). This pattern uses very little yarn and can be great for using up small amounts of left over yarn.

This pattern works best with DK weight or greater yarn.

To make this pattern you will need the yarn and appropriate sized hook, a blunt darning needle for sewing in the ends of the yarn, 2 similar sized buttons for the center of the flower, dark coloured sewing thread and a safety pin.
