Resize to Fit. The Resize Cashmere Top, worked in a top-down raglan construction, can be adapted in both width and length during knitting for a good fit. All sizes start alike, and by checking the gauge a second time on the yoke, you can follow the size that gives the desired circumference with the yoke working like an additional big swatch. The recommended ease is moderate, approx. 10 cm (4”) positive ease, work the top in your preferred circumference (or take a measurement of your favorite top of the same thickness).
The top is initiated at the top yoke with the first rows worked back and forth across back and sleeves with increases on the front (no short rows), the top is continued in the round. The top has rib edges (K1, P1), but as all edges, including the neckband, are worked at the end, both type and width can be varied according to taste.
