Reston Station socks feature a reversible cable, so the socks may be worn equally well with the cuff turned down to make ankle socks or with the cuff up. Reversible cables are achieved by working them in ribbing, rather than using a stitch that differs on each side.
The socks are worked from cuff down, in the round. The leg and the top of the foot are in 1 × 1 ribbing, featuring a single, offset cable panel on the front of each sock. The patterns on the two socks are mirrored. The socks have an eye of partridge heel flap and a wedge toe.

Charts and written directions for the charts are included.
