This is the 6th washcloth in the washcloth 2018 series honoring Terry Pratchett’s DiscWorld books. It’s a cheerful pattern with many color options, a choice of edging and sizes. Herringbone half double crochet stitches are featured.

The Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons has a warm place in my heart. I foster dogs from time to time, and hope they consider my home a Sunshine Sanctuary until they find their forever homes. The retired dogs stay with me :)

Materials, Gauge, Size

Note: Gauge is not very important in this pattern

Yellow and multicolored sample, including shell edging, 8 inches
gauge: 7 hdc stitches and 4 rows per 2 inches
100% cotton yarn, aran weight, yellow 25 - 30 yds, green 15 - 20 yds
I hook, or hook that matches your yarn/gauge preference

Green and white sample, without shell edging, 6 inches
gauge: 8 hdc stitches and 4.5 rows per 2 inches
100% cotton yarn, worsted weight, 30 - 35 yds
H hook, or hook that matches your yarn/gauge preference
