The Outlander Series inspires knitwear more than any other fandom ever has for me, being able to bring the woolens from the 20th and 18th centuries together in timesless designs. This is the third in my “Outlander Shawl” series, and “Return to Lallybroch” is the visual representation of the duality in Outlander: two lifelines, two people, two entirely different worlds, merged together into one beautiful story. It continues where Dragonfly in Amber left off, with Claire journeying through the stones once more, to find the love of her life. This shawl can be knit in two contrasting yarns, or a two of the same colorway, but either way the finish work is classic, practical, and decorative while complimenting indie-dyed yarns. Now Sassenach, fetch your yarn and needles; we are returning to Lallybroch!
