This chunky, snuggly baby blanket features contrasting columns of textured lace, cables and garter stitch, giving it a deep, sculptural texture. The blanket is reversible, removing the fuss of keeping one side on show.
The pattern is quick to knit, as it is in aran weight yarn. The resulting blanket is warm and cosy and, if knitted in quality wool yarn, will last generations.
The pattern is fully written out and also includes lace charts for optional use. An easy method to give beautiful, neat edge (selvedge) stitches is also included
The pattern includes instructions in six sizes: A. small cot (70cm x 90cm; 27.6 x 35.4 inches); B. large cot (90cm x 110cm; 35.4 x 43.3 inches); C. bassinette/stroller blanket (55cm x 70cm; 21.7 x 27.6 inches); D. square receiving blanket (78cm x 78cm; 30 x 30 inches); E. single bed cover (96cm x 188cm; 37.8 x 74 inches); and F. throw rug (127cm x 150cm; 50 x 59 inches).
