6/21/2023 Error in written instructions for Rows 21-32 corrected. The chart was correct previously.

This pattern has an elongated diamond pattern. It is reversible and looks very similar on both sides. The edges lie flat. The K2, P2 ribbings that form the diamonds collapse like a K2, P2 or K1, P1 ribbing in a hat band. This results in a blanket that feels thicker without using bulky yarn.

This pattern is similar to my Reversible Elongated Diamond Blanket but has much shorter diamonds because the lengthwise repeat is only half as long as the other version of this blanket. This gives you more control when choosing the length of the blanket. The repeat is 4 1/2 inches long lengthwise.
