This pattern produces a reversible hat. Fisherman ribbing produces a very stretchy, plush fabric that drapes well. Perfect for a slouchy hat. The purl one below rows will create colored ribs on the inside of the hat, so you can turn it inside out for a little more color with the same palette.

I used three colors corresponding to local school colors. Use whatever colors you want. One ball of each color (100g/81yds per ball) will be plenty for the project.
