Reversible Ribbed Mitts
by Lou Mott
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
The pattern is for one size, adult or teenager. The gloves are very stretchy so this one size fits most hands. They can be reversed and give slighlty different colours on the different sides.
The edging is done on the front of the mitts afterwards and is optional. It is done using a circluar needle or DPNs.
The gloves are worked sideways then stitched together up the side using kitchener stitch. Two colours are used together to give the slightly striped effect.
One ball of each colour is more than enough to make one pair of gloves. Other chunky yarns could be used but a tension check would be needed first.
