This cowl is a quick and easy knit. It is worked in the round and is seamless.
The design is reversible, with a different look on the reverse side.

The yarn used for the turquoise cowl is Shalimar Yarns - Edie Aran, which is 100% Merino Wool and is a beautifully soft and bouncy yarn.

The yarn used for the grey cowl is Classic Elite Yarns - MountainTop Chalet, a bulky weight baby soft alpaca and bamboo mix.

Other Aran to chunky/bulky weight yarns would work well.

A closer fitting cowl can be made by casting on fewer stitches and working an extra repeat of the pattern, but this will effect the yardage.
