Rhombus

Simple sideways lace pullover.

Oversized lace pullover, flattering on every body type. Meant to fit with ease of 10 inches or thereabouts.

Knitted sideways, without waist shaping in one piece, then stitches are picked up for sleeves after the body is seamed at the sides. Sleeves are knitted in the round.
Stitches are picked up around the neck for collar, and bottom for an i-cord trim.

This lovely lace blooms so beautifully when blocked.
Instructions for lace are charted and written out line by line for ease of knitting.

Yarn: Super wash merino by Fleece Artists in fingering weight held double in colour CREMA or Simply use a DK weight yarn like the BFL DK by Fleece Artist.
5,5,6 skeins (470 yards in each skein, approx. 2300-2400 yards) if you use DK weight you will need about half that amount.

Needles: Size 6 US (4mm) circular preferably to accommodate large amount of stitches (36 inches plus cord), and same size DPN’s for working the sleeves

Gauge: 22 st/26 rows in 4 inch/10cm blocked lace chart swatch or 22st/26 rows in 4 inch/10 cm stockinet blocked swatch.
