The Rib Twist Mecha Headband is a quick crochet project made from one skein of Malabrigo Mecha Yarn. I designed this headband to be able to wear my hair up, while getting the warmth I would get from wearing a hat. It can be worn with the twist in front or back. I love it both ways and it’s super cute worn with your hair down too. This headband took me just a few hours to whip up, making it the perfect quick gift project as well.

This headband is worked flat and seamed together. Finished piece measures 20 inches in circumference by 4.25 inches wide. You may adjust the finished size by adding or subtracting the number of stitches you start with. The width can also be adjusted for your perfect fit by working more or less rows.

Suggested Yarn - Malabrigo Mecha, 1 skein 009 Polar Morn 130 yards/119m

Yarn Requirements - Bulky Weight, 85 yards

Suggested Hook - J/6 mm

Notions - Tapestry needle, scissors

Gauge - 13 stitches & 12 rows = 4”/10 cm
