The ribbed beanie is knitted in the round with circular knitting needles – no seam and has a 1.5” 2 x 1 rib stitch with the body knitted in a 3 x 1 rib stitch. The beanie is nice and stretchy and fits cosily on the head. The pattern uses a soft aran yarn – the choice is yours. The hat in the picture measures (actual measurement) 18” circumference and stretches up to 24” comfortably.
