Ribbed Hat
Makes one adult or teen sized hat, with circumference of around 24 inches.
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn
300 yards color A
100 yards color B
I used Caron Simply Soft because I like the texture, but it’s your choice what you use, just as long as you can make it fit the gauge.
I used hook size I (5.50 mm), once again, just do whatever it takes to make the gauge.
Gauge: 9 of double crochet stitches per 2 inches
Glossary:
Ch: Chain
Dc: Double crochet
Slst: Slip stitch
Fpdc: Front post double crochet
Bpdc: Back post double crochet
Sc: Single crochet
Dc between stitches: Make a double crochet stitch around the loop of the stitch, rather than into the loop. In this pattern, this always has the effect of an increase.
Pattern is in American abbreviations.
This pattern has not been tested, so let me know if there are any errors in it or if the pattern is unclear, and I will try to fix any issues. This is my first time doing this, so please have patience.
