The Ribbon Candy Mitts are a delightful fingerless glove design with a fun slipped stitch pattern!

The mitts are cast on at the cuff and worked seamlessly in the round the to the fingers. The slipped stitch colorwork means that only one color is used per round, making the Ribbon Candy Mitts very approachable for knitters who are new to colorwork! An afterthought thumb keeps the colorwork pattern straightforward and clear.

You can use anywhere from 2-12 colors in your Ribbon Candy mitts- they’re great for minis, advent sets and leftovers!

SIZING AND MATERIALS

Sizes: S (M, L)

Finished palm circumference: 6.5 (7.75, 9)”/16.25 (19.25, 22.5) cm.

Yarn: Asylum Fibers Sport. MC approx. 120 (150, 180) yards / 110 (140, 165) m, CC, approx. 50 (65, 80) yards/ 45 (60, 75) m total (not per color!).

Sample shown in Mocha Mousse (MC), Huntress (CC1), Cruising (CC2), Cobalt (CC3), Delphinium (CC4), and How Noble (CC5).

Gauge: 25 stitches and 32 rows in 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch in the round.

Needles: US #4 / 3.5 mm — or size needed to obtain gauge.
