UPDATE 1/25/2017
This pattern is now available as a non-riff version for the style pictured top in HiKoo Kenzie (dark blue/light blue).

Adapted from and inspired by Alicia Plummer’s Montauk Tunic, the Riff Tunic formula can work with a wide range of yarns and can be configured to suit almost any wardrobe whim. All tunics shown here were created from the same basic pattern!

The Riff Tunic is written to be knit in the round. Work a gauge swatch to determine what needle size creates a fabric you like with your chosen yarn. Choose a cable length slightly shorter than the circumference you’re knitting (for instance, a 32” needle for a 36” tunic). Circle the numbers that apply to your size and gauge.

Use the yardage chart as an estimation tool. NOTE: hoods, sleeves, and some stitch patterns will increase the amount of yarn you need.
