A warm and cosy sweater with a ring of fir trees, inspired by the forest This zen woodland sweater features a ring of fir trees around the yoke. It is loose and airy with an a-line body shape leaving you free to roam on woodland trails or just cosy up with a hot beverage on a chilly day.

MATERIALS LIST:
• US size 9 (5.5mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
• US size 9 (5.5mm) short circular needles or dpns for collar
• Optional US size 8 (5mm) short circular needles or dpns for sleeves (or a half-size down from needles used for body)
• 16”, 24” & 36” circular wires.
• Cable needle.
• Unlocking/locking stitch markers (second colour for beginning of round, waste yarn or circular wires to put sleeves on hold.
It is important that they are able to be unlocked.
• Large darning needle to weave in ends.
• Scissors

SKILLS:
This sweater is designed to be a pretty easy knit recommended for an advanced beginner. The sweater contains a few cables, increases and other basic stitches. The sweater is knit top down, in one piece with no seaming. There is a slight a-line structure to the body. There are no short rows included in the interest of keeping it an easy knit but they could easilly be added in.
