River Jumper Cotton Edition
We are so happy to present River Jumper Cotton Edition and its original Knitting kit, designed by Astrid at the Atelier with the Biches & Bûches yarns Le Petit Organic Cotton + Le Petit Silk & Mohair knit together
River Jumper flows with us from the calm coffee moment to evening come-togethers with friends. The cropped shape creates such a beautiful line at the waist, and it pairs effortlessly with everything from high-rise denim to flowing skirts to your most-loved tailored pieces
Construction
River Jumper is worked top-down in two different stitch patterns with a strand each of the two yarns held together throughout
Beginning at the back neck, we use short rows to shape the shoulder parts and then work the back flat down to below the armholes
Picking up stitches at the shoulder line on the back, we then work the front, shaping the V-neck as we work flat down to below the armholes
The back and front are then joined and worked in the round for the lower body
The stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked top-down and in the round for 3/4 length sleeves
For the light version of the jumper, we have used a bind-off in 1/1 ribbing and for the dark version, we have used the Italian bind-off and we have included both versions in the pattern for you to choose
