This hat was inspired by my love of water and rainfall. Picture a cozy room with a large window, the rain softly falling outside. It makes a gentle, soothing sound as rivulets of water slowly trickle down the pane. It is a perfect moment, peaceful, tranquil.

As you work on this hat, I want you to return to that moment by the window. As we deal with these unprecedented times, we need a sanctuary to return to, we need hope. Use the Rivulet Beanie to help you navigate these uncharted waters.

With 2 brim options and several options to adjust the size, you can create a special hat for every member of the family.

To make this hat you will need:

100-150 yds of Bulky weight (CYC 5) acrylic yarn or equivalent yarn to achieve gauge
US 10 (6 mm) circular knitting needle or dpns if not using magic loop
Tapestry needle
Faux fur pom pom

Sample shown in Loops & Threads Charisma Tweed in White with a faux fur pom pom from ThreadHeadKnits in Spice.

The finished hat measures 18” around unblocked.
