A robot that is huggable and lovable! When my hard to please preschooler first saw it, he said “That’s so cool! I love you too robot!” It even went along on his last camping trip.

The sleeping bag body uses two strands of worsted yarn held together, so it works up quickly. A picture tutorial shows you how to line it with fleece, and no sewing machine is required.

✨ What makes it work

• Double stranded. Two strands of worsted and a big hook keep it moving fast.
• Robot pillow. A matching pillow buttons on.
• Fleece lining. Photo tutorial for lining it, no sewing machine needed.
• Three kid sizes. Toddler, Preschool and Child.

• Yarn: Value, Big Twist: Medium Gray 7 (9, 11) skeins · Soft Gray 1 skein · Scarlet 1 skein · Black and White, small amounts
• Yardage: approx. 3000 (3600, 4200) yds
• Love a swap? Super Saver, Red Heart · One Pound, Caron
• Hook: M/N (9mm) and H (5mm)
• Tools: Sewing needle · Scissors · Stitch Marker
• To finish like the sample: 1” red buttons (8) · 14” x 14” basic soft craft pillow · No-fray fleece fabric to fit the sleeping bag body

• Pillow: 15” x 16” laid flat without filling
