Inspired by an early comment that large holes belonged only to crochet, this design celebrates holes in knitting. An original tessellated concept evolved into wave-like lace, paired with feather-and-fan stitches. The vibrant colour palette was inspired by Mexico’s bold walls, framed with crisp white architectural borders and details.

This is an intermediate level pattern.

It’s made with 4ply/fingering weight yarn held double or can be knitted in DK weight yarn instead. (If using DK, you will need 2 balls of Main Colour and 1 ball of each other colour).
