Pattern sample is knit with fingering yarn, and I did use the full skein of the blue for 10 repeats, plus the final right twist rib pattern and border.
So, I recommend weighing yarn at start of the border and end of C1 right twist rib pattern to determine how much yarn you’ll need to complete the final right twisted rib pattern and border.

DK weight yarn could easily be substituted, but yardage required would vary and you may wish to adjust the needle size.
