The name Róisín is Irish for “Little Rose”, as these were inspired by my favorite blooms in the garden. Delicate, and romantic, yet standing the test of time, and the harshest of Winters.

The construction is top-down, beginning with a ribbed cuff, followed by a ring of eyelets about the ankle. Next the floral lace motif runs down the front of the foot, with stockinette in the back. The heel is knitted in the flap and gusset method, with garter edges.

Needles: They are knitted on size US 2, 2.75 mm needles.

Yarn: The yarn I used is fingering weight Shetland, by Jamieson and Smith.

Sizes: The pattern is written for four sizes, Kids Large/Teen, Adult Small, Adult Medium, and Adult Large.
