Meet the Secret Passages Socks, inspired by hidden doors and secret passages.

I wanted to bring the feeling of a library, with a hidden door moving bookcase to life in knitted stitches.
Deep jewel toned green cuffs and toes cap the winding cables that lead off behind the “bookcase” texture in the center of the motif.

They are knitted cuff-down in fingering weight yarn, on size US 2/2.75 mm needles.

The sizes range from Kids Large/Teen to Adult Large.

Beginning with a rolled edge at the cuff, then 1x1 ribbing in contrasting yarn, transitions to simple, but engaging, cables and texture in the main color. The design features a flap and gusset style heel, with garter borders framing the slipped stitches. Finished with a pop of that same deep green for the toe.

This design is the first in this year’s (A/W 2025-2026) themed collection, Secret Passages. A collection inspired by medieval and renaissance pieces, with nods towards fantasy themes, and the joy of a good book, with a dragon or two in it.
