Yeah derby!! Searched high and low to no avail for a little roller skate pattern with roller derby stylings such as lower ankle, beefy toe stop, lacing to the toe, and baseplate under the boot for trucks, so created one.

This pattern starts on release day at just $1, and will increase by $1 each day until it reaches the final price of probably around $5.

These are modeled after my Riedell Solaris Pros. Tons of ways to make these like your own derby quads! You may notice the red skate’s wheels have better angles than the black skate’s wheels--the black skate’s wheels were made first without post stitches, and the red skate’s wheels were made second with post stitches that are how the pattern is written. If post stitches trip you up for now, feel free to pass on the posts like on the black skate and it’ll look rounder yet still dope.

Pattern in US crochet terms may not be distributed or sold as your own.
Feel free to make and sell finished skates, artist credit not necessary.
