The Roman Beanie is a simple beanie with an oversized brim and a tier of pretty cabled detail that peeks out from under the fold. This hat is inspired by the ornate cornices and columns that I notice when looking up at buildings in Rome.

This pattern includes both charted and written instructions for the cable section.
